How to associate and disassociate a device from Iperius One
In this tutorial, we will see how to associate or disassociate a device from an Iperius ONE license.
First of all, let’s distinguish between the case where you have a new Iperius ONE license and the case where you have performed an upgrade from Iperius Remote:
- If you have a new Iperius ONE license, the Devices list will be empty.
- If you have performed an upgrade from Iperius Remote, the device list will be populated with the computers already present in the Iperius Remote Address Book.
At that point, you can choose whether to associate the computer already present in the Iperius Remote Address Book also with the Iperius One license, always without exceeding the number of modules allowed by your One license.
To associate a device with the Iperius One license, the first step is to download the agent so that it can be installed on all devices you want to associate.

You can generate and download only the setup file or also the MSI package in order to install it in bulk on all devices.
Once generated, download the setup and run it.

Wait for the agent execution and installation to complete (this may take a few minutes).
If you have a new Iperius One license, once the installation is completed the device on which the setup was executed will be visible in the Devices section of Iperius One. If, instead, you upgraded from Iperius Remote, the device will already be present in the list and will show the One logo enabled, in addition to the Iperius Remote logo:

It is possible at any time to remove / disassociate the device from the One license using the drop-down menu:

Please note: this operation removes one available slot from the Iperius One license, it does not remove the computer from the Iperius Remote Address Book. If you want to remove the computer also from the Iperius Remote Address Book, you must go to the Overview section and specifically click this option:

In the same way, it is possible to add it again, always without exceeding the number of modules allowed by your One license:

Removing a device from One does not physically uninstall Iperius One from the device; it only frees up a module slot from the One license.
Additionally, the Iperius One services will be stopped, and to add the device back to the license it will be necessary to manually restart those services.
To completely uninstall Iperius One from the device, you must follow the standard Windows procedure for uninstalling a program:
